Common scopes of work: Installation of various Firestopping systems.

Availability: 2 Firestopping Insulator positions available
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day, 40hrs a week
Salary: $36.00 – $38.00 Hourly
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location of work: Various Locations Calgary and surrounding communities in Southern Alberta
Duties: Installation of Firestopping systems

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of High School
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of specific firestopping experience with a ULC approved Firestopping contractor in addition to specific construction & building maintenance related experience including a strong knowledge of ventilation systems in commercial & industrial buildings.
Languages: Speak, read & write English
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Essential Skills: Reading text, writing, communication, working with others, problem-solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning
Tasks: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Transportation/Travel Information: Must have a valid driver’s licence
