Responsibilities

The installation, construction, alteration, repair, maintenance, commissioning, testing, servicing and related operation of electrical and electronic systems in any premise, place building or structure.

Qualifications

Applicants must have Journeyman qualifications in the Electrical trade in the form of a BC Trades Qualifications (TQ) and/or Inter-provincial Certification including an “B” ticket.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a building maintenance environment.

Experience with the electrical workings of HVAC components and controls would be an asset.

An up-to-date driving abstract must accompany application. Maximum 9 points in the past 3 years, no impaired convictions, roadside suspensions or prohibitions in the past 3 years.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.

This position works predominately on-site.

Rate of Pay

Wage: $59.69 per hour
