Electronic Service Technician Full Time NEW

Information Network Systems located at 75 Northland Road Unit A, Waterloo, ON N2V 1Y8 has a vacancy for a full time and permanent printer technician.

INS has been serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London, and surrounding areas for over 50 years. Our solutions include printing, mailing, document management, phone systems and more recently IT services. We are a Konica-Minolta agent.

Duties

• You will provide install, repair, and service support on multi-function printers in customer’s locations.
• Leveraging our tool sets you will proactively monitor our client’s network devices to exceed promised SLA’s and to ensure maximum uptime.
• Train end users on printer / MFP hardware
• Accurately and timely logging of problems and resolutions for assigned tickets in CRM tool.
• Inspect digital printer/copier equipment for proper functioning.
• Diagnose and locate faults with components, circuits and software of copier and related equipment.
• Performs installations and maintenance services for our copier/printers, including specialized and advanced products as required within the entire branch territory.
• Maintains an up-to-date file of service manuals, parts books and other service literature issued to them and maintains a working knowledge of contents.
• Maintains tool kit, supplies and accurate trunk inventory for assigned territory.
• Completes all service reports correctly and on-time.

Experience Requirements /Abilities
• Must be able to perform the duties above.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively engage with client.
• Applicant must have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple requests at one time, adjusting priorities and working with a sense of urgency to deliver an excellent client experience.
• Ability to work productively both independently and within a team environment.
Have an understanding of IT troubleshooting techniques and methodologies
Valid driver’s license and 24/7 access to a vehicle.

Education Requirements
• Must have Konica Minolta technical printer training for Copiers/Printers
