Concrete Mason Full Time NEW

Steed and Evans Ltd. located in St. Jacobs, Ontario is looking for full-time Concrete Masons with a minimum of 3 years experience. Duties include casting concrete manhole covers; positioning crane equipment to place steel mold sections onto pallets, inserting mold cores and pouring plates; assembling mold sections; grouting, welding, dry-packing, and shimming precast components; mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete; filling hollows and removing surface imperfections from freshly poured cement; operating power vibrators to compact concrete; levelling top surfaces according to specified grade and depth; finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools; installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures; applying curing, hardening, and sealing compounds; performing waterproofing, damp-proofing, and surface restoration; and repairing, resurfacing, or replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. $41.30 per hour (as per collective agreement).
