Industrial Service & Custom Builds – A Role for the Versatile Professional
Inviting qualified candidates from Caledon, Orangeville, Bolton, Vaughan, Brampton and surrounding areas only.
Location: Based in Bolton, ON
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Why Join Waterworx Mechanical?
At Waterworx, we don’t believe in pigeonholing our technicians. If you are a Service expert who wants to master high-end Custom Builds, or a Construction pro looking to sharpen your Industrial troubleshooting, we provide the environment to do it.
We produce the highest-calibre plumbers in Ontario because we refuse to do “cookie-cutter” work. You will be supported by a modern tech stack (Jobber & Slack), high-end equipment, and a team that values your expertise.
The Role: Autonomy & Variety
As a Journeyman at Waterworx, you are the face of our craftsmanship. You will lead projects and, depending on the job, mentor an apprentice to help you execute to our standards.
What you’ll be doing:
Industrial & Commercial Excellence: Leading service calls for our industrial partners—troubleshooting complex systems where downtime isn’t an option.
Custom Construction: Managing rough-ins and high-end finishes for residential and commercial renovations.
The “Swiss Army Knife” Approach: If you’re strong in one area, we’ll help you bridge the gap to become a master of all sectors (Industrial, Commercial, and Residential).
Leadership: Mentoring the next generation of apprentices and ensuring site safety and quality control.
The Work-Life Balance & Compensation
Hourly Rate: Competitive flat hourly rate based on experience and versatility.
Take-Home Vehicle: A company van is provided for you to take home following a successful probationary period.
Tools & Tech: We provide all “big” tools (ProPress, threaders, etc.). You provide your professional hand tools.
Corporate Support: A company credit card will be considered following a successful probationary period.
On-Call Rotation: We maintain a weekend rotation. Note: Our calls are 94% Industrial, meaning you’ll be solving real mechanical problems, not just residential emergencies.
What You Bring to the Team
Licensing: Valid Ontario 306A Plumber License in good standing.
Versatility: A strong background in either Service or Construction, with a genuine desire to become an expert in both.
Reliability: A valid ‘G’ License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Communication: Ability to lead a team, mentor an apprentice, and communicate clearly with industrial plant managers and custom homeowners.
Bonus Assets: OWWA Backflow certification or Gas Fitter (G1/G2) licenses are highly valued but not required.
