Are you a hands-on technician with hydraulic expertise? Join Norcan Fluid Power, a leading provider of hydraulic solutions in Western Canada. We’re hiring a Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems across the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical skills, field service experience, and a passion for solving problems on-site. You’ll work with a team of technicians and in-house engineers to support industrial and custom hydraulic systems.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems at customer locations
Service and commission hydraulic power units, pumps, valves, actuators, and hose assemblies
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and flow paths
Maintain service truck, tools, and equipment
Complete accurate service reports and documentation
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and parts teams to deliver customer solutions
Ensure safety and professionalism in all field work
✅ What You Bring
3+ years of experience in hydraulic repair or industrial maintenance
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
Millwright, heavy-duty mechanic, or hydraulic technician background is a strong asset
Safety-focused mindset and problem-solving ability
