Reporting to the Operations Facilities Manager, the Trade Supervisor, Maintenance is responsible for supervising teams of multi-discipline trades workers, determining staffing requirements and overseeing maintenance and facilities assignments within the Shipyard Facilities. As well as temporary electrical services to support production. The Trade Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Company safety, quality, and environmental standards, policies and procedures. To ensure standards are met, the Trade Supervisor regularly monitors performance and conducts performance management tasks, including but not limited to: providing advice and correction, disciplining employees, approving timesheets, reviewing leave requests, and ensuring the collective agreement is applied appropriately for staff in area of responsibility.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver and will work the following hours, Monday to Friday: 9:30pm – 5:30am.

The estimated salary for this position is $115,00-$127,000. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
