JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Co-Op is for the Winter 2025 term
The Engineering Co-op Student will work at EVRAZ NA’s Research and Development Centre located just North of Regina, Saskatchewan for a period of 4, 8 or 12 months. As a member of the Research group, they will participate in product development projects, mill process optimization trials, and qualification testing and failure investigations. The successful applicant will use investigative techniques such as SEM/EDAX analysis, quantitative image analysis, sonic inspection, mechanical testing and metallographic analyses. The student will work as a team member and will participate in planning of trials, data collection and analysis. The position will provide exposure to all aspects of EVRAZ NA operations including steelmaking, casting, rolling, and pipe forming and welding.
