Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Senior Manager, Security Ops.

Your Moneris Career – What you’ll do

• Manage the SOC team on monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents.

• Stay current with adversary tactics and apply this knowledge to internal operational countermeasures.

• Brief the leadership team on the current threat landscape and SOC investigations.

• Produce weekly and monthly SOC metrics to the Sr. Manager of Security Operations and CISO.

• Lead the engineering, design, deployment of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.

• Support the operations of crucial security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, and other tools.

• Recommend strategies, solutions, and improvements to the leadership team.

• Monitor the threat landscape to assess, identify, report, and fix any vulnerability that may threaten Moneris.

• Meet all PCI and Audit requirements concerning Vulnerability Management.

Your Moneris Career – What you bring

• Demonstrated knowledge of security operations, investigations, incident response, ticket management, and KRI reporting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, CVE, RBVM, CVSS, OWASP, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and others.)

• 5+ years of experience with crucial security operations tools and platforms such as EDR, SIEM, FIM, IDS/IPS, WAF, Vulnerability Scanners.

• Experience building standard operating procedures for security operations.

• Experience with Complex and challenging Cyber Security scenarios

• Advanced knowledge in Incident Response and Security Operations

• Security visualization skills

• Analytical reporting background.

• Experience communicating with stakeholders and management.
